5 Ways To Manifest More Money

How’s the Money area on your Project Me Life Wheel right now?

When the money isn’t flowing well, there’s a danger of it leaching into other areas of your life too. Money is a very emotionally charged subject and your relationship with money determines how well it flows. Once you get into a mindset of ‘lacking’ it creates a negative, downward spiral.

My Money Manifesting Story

I normally have a positive money mindset and abundance flows freely to me. However, last year an unscrupulous UK based business coach took my money and didn’t deliver what she’d promised. I hadn’t been earning much while I was focused on writing my book, so now my business bank account was running dry and I felt myself slipping into a negative money mindset. ‘She stole my money! I should have never trusted her.’  led to ‘I make poor business decisions’ to ‘I’m terrible with numbers and finances’ to ‘I’m totally crap at business.’

I needed to snap out of these self-limiting beliefs that were casting a bad energy over my finances.

I began listening to money and abundance meditations in the Insight Timer App to reaffirm my ability to create wealth.

I got out my gratitude journal and wrote gratitude in advance for the success of my business. I described (using present tense) how incredibly proud and happy I was to have an abundance of money flowing through my business and what I’d do with it, including my bigger-picture dream vision of charity initiatives that empower women.

I made a mini Vision Board all about abundance and felt my vibrations transforming from ‘lack’ to positive expectation and belief.

And it shifted things quickly!

First I won £590 (approx $840 USD) in the Action Aid charity lottery! This raised my vibrational energies higher, tuning me in to the frequency of financial abundance. Then a very different female business coach, Marie Forleo (who’s the real deal!) invited me to be a B-School affiliate. I quickly made more money in my business than in the previous four years combined. And I was able to set up the charity / giving-back side of Project Me that I’d envisioned, which feels amazing.

I believe in the Law of Vibration and also the Law of Least Effort. (I’ll delve deeply into these topics in my High Vibe Journey Programme.)

5 Ways to Manifest More Money

There are lots of ways to work to make more money, but here are some rather effortless ways to do it too.

  • Keep a Gratitude Journal

A great way to keep the flow of abundance coming to you is to practice an attitude of gratitude. If we don’t fully appreciate what we have, we limit the flow of abundance. When we pause to truly feel gratitude for both the small and big things in our life, our vibrational frequency attracts more things to feel grateful for.  Dedicate a new journal or notebook to use as your Gratitude Journal. Use the left hand page to give thanks for things you already have in your life – big or small. On the right hand page, give thanks for the things you’d like to manifest in the future. If it’s more money you’d like – get specific about what you’d do with it. Write it in the present tense, as if you already have it.  ‘Thank you SO much for the financial abundance that flows through my life. Thank you for the beautiful new home / car / family adventure / school tuition / security / freedom’ – whatever you desire. Fill up the whole page with how it makes you feel and what it means to you and your family. Then let go, trust and allow.

  • Listen to Guided Abundance Meditations

The free Insight Timer meditation app is filled with them. Close your eyes, press play and soak in the positive affirmations. Only have 4 minutes? Try Gratitude Meditation by Meredith Rom. Got 11 minutes? Welcoming Abundance by Melody Litton.  I also love Manifestation Meditation by Melissa Ambrosini which is 10 minutes of supercharging your manifestation powers.  Use the search function in the app to discover your own faves and bookmark them for easy access. Be sure to join the Project Me for Busy Mothers group in the app too. I’d love to connect with you there.

  • Create a Vision Board

Cut pictures and words out of magazines of what you’ll do with all of the money you’re going to manifest. Alongside the material things, such as home, car, holidays – include images that show how you will feel when you have those things in your life. Freedom? Joy? Love? Passion? Will you give money to charities dear to your heart? Include those too. Now get some poster board and glue and stick those amazing cuttings to your new Vision Board.  Hang it where you see it often and spend time gazing at it whilst feeling the emotions you eagerly anticipate experiencing when those wonderful visions become your reality. Here’s how to make a good-vibes Vision Board that works.

  • Be generous, give freely

It may seem counterintuitive to give away money when you’re trying to attract more, but generosity raises your feel-good vibes and it’ll come back to you ten-fold. When the new plastic 5 pound notes came out in the UK, they felt like play-money to me. If I passed a homeless person and had a £5 note in my bag, I gave it away. Guess what happened straight after I’d manifested that SURGE of financial abundance I wrote about earlier?  I went to the cash machine to make a big withdrawal, feeling super grateful and… the machine spat out ALL £5 notes! It was a ridiculously thick wad! That had never happened to me before – so I took it as a sign from the Universe and began giving them out freely on that bitterly cold winter day.

Generosity also comes in the form of being helpful and doing random acts of kindness. Give freely of yourself and it will come back to you. It’s also good to visualise which charity you’ll support generously once you’re in a position to do so. Add their logo to your Vision Board along with pictures of other things you’ll have in your life with an abundance of money. Vision boards work wonders for me.

  • Use Positive Money Affirmations

Finally, every time you notice yourself in a mindset of ‘lack of’ or ‘not enough’, shift your thoughts to those of abundance. Say affirmations like: ‘I am a money magnet!’, ‘I can always get what I want’, ‘I’m open to receiving’, ‘Money flows freely to me’, ‘I deserve to live an abundant life’. Notice if you begin to feel impatient for it to happen or doubtful if it ever will as this is not the frequency of attraction. Keep focusing on the good in your life. There is always, always something to feel grateful for.

And here’s a little bonus ‘Money Trick’ you can use every time you withdraw cash.

During that pause while the machine is counting out the notes, give a silent thank you and feel gratitude that you can walk up to a hole in the wall and pull out cold hard cash. I mean, how amazing is that? There are billions of people in the world who could only dream of this, yet most of us do it so mechanically that we don’t even think about how wondrous this is. As the little slot opens and the cash reaches your hands, feel a wave of gratitude. It’s these moments of receiving money that we need to notice, appreciate and feel grateful for. It doesn’t matter if you’re overdrawn, you feel underpaid or that the money is going straight towards paying a bill or the taxman – negative feelings about money push it further away from you, while an attitude of gratitude attracts it.

Turn to the Money chapter in my book, Project Me for Busy Mothers: A Practical Guide to Finding a Happier Balance for practical advice about saving, spending, budgeting, money goals, and how to overcome your money blocks. Some people are saying it’s their favourite chapter in my book and making a positive difference to their life.

I’m another one who loves this chapter in your book Kelly! I listened to the audio version which I loved then got the paperback and it really is a guide I’ll refer to over and over. I have already started a gratitude journal since hearing you talk about it and would like to know how often I should write in it? I am also doing the gratitude at the cash machine and want to make a vision board next. Thank you for all of the inspiration! 🙂

      Fantastic Tracey! You’re a poster girl for #ProjectMe 🙂

Regarding how often to write in your Gratitude Journal – psychology researchers have found that writing occasionally is more beneficial than writing daily for boosting happiness. There’s no point turning it into a mechanically produced list without any conscious connection to what you’re writing. Think of each thing you write about as a gift, relishing that feeling in your heart. When you feel really connected to it, that’s when you’re raising your vibrational frequency and attracting those things you’re feeling gratitude in advance for. I’ll love to read your Project Me success stories over on the success stories tab of Project Me! 🙂 xx

Hi Kelly Just reading this. Going to get the book out tonight. It definitely an area I need to work on !!

    • Kelly Pietrangeli on May 9, 2018 at 6:36 PM

Great Catherine! The Money chapter is the last one in the book, so I know not everyone has reached it. But those who have are saying how much they love it, so let me know what you think too. 🙂 Some focused attention will bring you great results. x

Thank you! I just recently wrapped up listening to a 6 week guided meditation on the law of attraction and abundance. I’d love to read your thoughts on those and he Law if Least Effort, which I have never heard of. This is a great reminder to me now that my husband is launching a new business and our savings are quickly diminishing. There is always so much for which to be grateful!

    • Kelly Pietrangeli on May 9, 2018 at 6:43 PM

What a wonderful thing to do Meghan! I’m been fascinated by this subject for years and have immersed myself in a lot of books, meditations and teachings. I’ll try to write more posts on these things if there’s interest! The Law of Least Effort I learned about in Deepak Chopra’s classic book The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success. If you observe nature, you will see that least effort is expended. Grass doesn’t try to grow, it just grows. Fish don’t try to swim, they just swim. Flowers don’t try to bloom… The earth doesn’t try to spin on it’s own axis…

And so it is in human nature to make our dreams manifest into physical form, easily and effortlessly. Do less and accomplish more is not the message we hear in today’s world of pushing, striving and hustling… but when we focus on being in harmony with nature and knowledge of our true Self, we can make use of the Law of Least Effort.

Read Deepak’s book for more! 🙂 xx

Me too… I’m very keen to learn more about the law of least effort which is an unknown to me.
Congrats Kelly on writing so wisely on such a sensitive subject. Thank you, as always, your friend Dominique xxx

Hi Kelly, love this post! I’ve never kept a gratitude journal and it feels a bit strange doing it but I’m going to give it a try! I’d really love to see The Law of Attraction & Least Effort blogs from you too!

    • Kelly Pietrangeli on May 10, 2018 at 5:22 PM

Glad you’re up for giving it a go Simone! You can even number it 1-10 and make a gratitude list to get started. Ten new things each day! It can be lots of fun. I’ll start to blog more on these topics – thanks for the encouragement. 🙂 xx

  8. Louisa on May 12, 2018 at 2:35 PM

I love this, Kelly. I will be focusing more on finances from now on. I feel like I have a very abundant life but I definitely suffer from a “lack mindset” at times, especially in relation to money specifically. Thanks for the reminder about the law of least effort and Deepak’s book, which I read (and loved) years ago. Will dig it out this very afternoon and start trying some of your other tricks and tips too. I’ll report back when I start seeing any changes. xxx

    • Kelly Pietrangeli on May 14, 2018 at 12:50 PM

I know, it’s easy to kind of forget the nuggets from those very first books we read years ago. Revisiting them now means you recognise how much of it you embraced – and how much of it washed right over you back then because you weren’t ready. I really look forward to your report once you’ve taken some actions in the Money area of your life! Look out Louisa!! 🙂 xx

      • Louisa on May 14, 2018 at 4:45 PM

Yesss!!! I just re-read Deepak’s book and I’ve worked out it was 18 years ago when I read it first – just before I moved to Madrid the first time, and a year or two before taking the leap from a well-paid (but soul-sucking) corporate job to following my heart’s desire (working with languages and writing). Everything has worked out waaaaay better than I could have ever imagined. And you’re so right, re-reading this book with what I know now is incredibly enlightening. Thanks so much for the nudge. I’ll go back to keeping it on my bedside table (which is now a small library in itself. lol) New action plan to be put in place. Look out world! 😉

Dreams have always been a source of mystery for me. I have always had vivid dreams, full of rich imagery, metaphor and emotion. When talking about my dreams to family, friends and colleagues, I have tried to decode them, understand them and pull apart their meaning, waiting for them to reveal hidden truths about me and my life, past, present and future. However, I am often left wondering whether my dreams have any ‘real’ meaning, or whether they are just a by-product of the day to day mental processing which is essential to the upkeep and maintenance of our brains.

  10. Vicky Whitehurst on April 25, 2021 at 7:49 PM

A great piece Kelly, I suffer from a ‘lack of’ mentality way too much when I have so much to be grateful for. I am going to write more positively in my newly started journal and introduce abundance meditations. I gave freely yesterday and bought some extra scratch cards and left them under peoples car windscreens. I’ll get back to you with how successful I am.
