The Evolution of My Project Me

Since the launch of the Project Me website in 2013, there’s been a certain formula to how I’ve written over 100 of my blog posts:

  • Identify the pain point / problem
  • Show you that I get it / I’ve been there too
  • Offer tried and tested tools and strategies to solve the problem
  • End with a clear call to action.

Boom! 💥

This was my own way of living for many years and I stand by the Project Me framework of checking in with your life to see what’s working and what’s not so you aren’t living with unnecessary struggles. I even wrote a whole book about it

But here’s what’s interesting.

10+ years of monthly check-ins and meet-ups with my Power Posse have put me in close touch with my life, my emotions, and how to navigate through a whole range of challenges.  And as my own Project Me continues to evolve, I’ve come to see how I limit myself by thinking that life is simply about a whole lot of choices, decisions and problems that need solving.

I now have a better understanding of the energetic current that runs through all of our lives. I can see the patterns we fall into and how often we pin ourselves to the vibration of everything that’s going ‘wrong’ or needs fixing.

As Albert Einstein said,

“We cannot solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them.”

I’m learning to focus less on what isn’t working in my life so I’m not stuck in the vibration of the problem. I focus more on what brings me joy, love and appreciation. And when I am in that higher vibrational state, the problems either sort themselves out or fresh solutions arise naturally. It does involve a good degree of letting go and trusting that everything will work out for my highest good. (Not easy, but it always does.)

The challenge I’ve had lately with writing fresh Project ME blog posts is to try to keep to the ‘problem solving formula’ when I’m no longer in that mindset. When you try to be something to everyone, you end up being ‘vanilla’ – which is a popular flavour but you can find it anywhere and everywhere. I’d rather be pistachio or mint chocolate chip or salted caramel with extra nuts ! (Yes, I’m ice cream obsessed…)

My previous blog posts are written with the objective of helping you with common struggles in each of your 8 Key Life Areas. From How to Overcome Overwhelm, to How to Stop Shouting at Your Kids, to How to Get Your Sex Life Back on Track, to How to Start Your Own Business. I’ve brought in experts in health, fitness, money, love and friendships – and it remains a treasure trove of proven solutions to a myriad of problems. These older posts are not going anywhere because sometimes we really do need practical help to get us unstuck.

Going forward, I want to write and speak less about problem-solving (the old me), and more about living with flow and ease and how to get into vibrational alignment to bring out the expanded version of you.

Too many of us are operating on a substandard level of ‘just getting by’. We become reduced to using our mind to try to fix everything. That ‘small me’ way of being keeps us feeling unnecessarily trapped by our circumstances.

When you tune into yourself and spend more time focusing on what lights you up, you’ll become less fixated on the issues or caught up in the dramas. Daily decisions will become effortless when you are in the true flow of life. As your vibration goes up, that whole part of you that tries to fix and solve and decide will become much quieter and fade out of the picture. And then that expanded version of you will be looking back saying, ‘What was that all about?’

This is definitely what’s happening to me. A shedding of old baggage that used to weigh me down and a dissolving of filtered lenses which distorted my vision. I can see much more clearly now and the view is absolutely beautiful.

I’m a manifesting-machine, attracting the people, things and opportunities that show up to assist me constantly. It makes life feel very fun and playful.

The Project Me blog has been about documenting my journey while inspiring you to enjoy yours. But the blog is not my business. You may have noticed that I don’t sell ads or do sponsored posts or product placements. I have written about my love of Marie Forleo’s B-School and The Parent Practice and Bump & Beyond Online Fitness long before either made me an affiliate / ambassador.

My actual income-generating business is my Project WE membership site and that is where my true passion lies. I’m a community leader, content creator, storyteller and workshop facilitator. I adore the connections within the Project WE ‘Power Posse’ community and feel incredibly grateful to have attracted such amazing women from all over the world into this space.

I’m open to starting a podcast if I notice signs and signals to move forward with that idea. I’m learning to wait to respond, rather than jumping on things straight away.

I guess what I’m trying to say here is – watch this space! Lots of wonderful things to come if you continue to be alongside me on this Project Me journey.

In the comments below, say ‘hi’ if you’re new here. I personally respond to all comments. If you’ve been following for a while, how is your own Project Me evolving? I’d love to hear what you think of living with more flow, ease and vibrational alignment.

Positively yours,

Kelly this is WONDERFUL. I love this direction. and so excited for even more of this energy inside of Project WE. I’ve definitely felt my own Project Me evolve and loosen over the last few years – it’s one heck of a journey! xx

Thanks Rachel – I will definitely be injecting more of this energy into the Project WE membership hub with more ‘how to’ videos to share practical ways to raise vibes higher! So grateful you’re such a big part of this. ❤️

Love this. Keeping the old stuff available will allow those following a similar journey behind you what may be relevant to them now, as it was to you in your time at that place. But then transforming your posts to better reflect where you are now can help us see where it could all be heading and maybe give us advice from a more future perspective on how we can maybe skip some of the crappier parts of the journey.

Always be you because you are amazing, so glad to have you as one of the guides on my life’s journey.

Thank you Tracy. I’ve held back on writing about the transformations I’m going through now at the risk of putting off newbies or those not ready for the next level stuff, but you’re right. The blog vault remains a treasure trove of resources for everyone, and the newer stuff will be inspirational and / or FAST TRACK you! So happy to have you as a part of Project WE. I learn a lot from you too. xx

♥️ Am finding it very tricky to not fix things and see how they play out without my intervention but am learning to trust a bit more. Waiting for external signs to take action (I’m a generator) doesn’t seem to come naturally at the moment-but we are works in progress aren’t we?! Love hearing about your journey-more whenever you are ready please! X

    • Kelly Pietrangeli on June 12, 2019 at 10:46 AM

The first step is always awareness Sarah. We cannot begin to change something we are not even aware of, so you’re doing much better than you think. Pay attention to feelings of impatience and wanting to control outcomes. Breath through it. Journal and meditate on letting go of uncertainty about the future and staying in the present moment.

You are already aware of your Human Design ‘Generator’ strategy to wait for external signs and again, it’s that awareness which will serve you well. I will indeed be sharing much more of my journey – watch this space! xx

Yes!!!!! This sounds wonderful, Kelly! It sounds like a natural evolution, so it must be a good thing! I’m not a details person (apart from in my proofreading/translating, where I really am a nitpicker!), and I’ve realized recently I’m kind of ignoring a ton of minor problems/issues that still crop up on my life wheel each month but despite this I’m feeling happier and more connected and more deeply fulfilled than ever before. It’s all about my vibrations and personal growth transformation, I’m sure of it. Things aren’t perfect, but they feel amazing. So I say let the details, problems and issues drop away and let’s see what comes up in their place. Rocking our Project We, sista! 🙂 Thank you for guiding me on this incredible journey. <3

YESSS back at ‘cha! Exactly! The little problems no longer make a dent on your overall happiness when your vibes are pure and high. You have always been a star commenter under my blogs and honestly they kept me going in the early days, so I’m excited and grateful you are still along for the ride!!!! 🙂 xxx

So excited for what is coming next!!! Glad your going with the flow!

Thanks Jenny! Love having you in the Project WE tribe where we can connect deeper and inspire each other. xx

    Hi Kelly,
I absolutely love this! This is one of my biggest philosophies! I believe people have a tendency to focus on what they perceive as problems like I was talking about with my money mind set a while ago.
And in doing so we attract the same or create patterns that create more of the same.
I have become a massive believer in manifesting since I started attracting people to me that I have needed in one way or another to help me take the next step on my journey. I still struggle sometimes and find myself slipping into problem solving mode. But I know my strategies work and now it’s time to trust what I KNOW.
I am so excited for this new evolution I have seen it coming in you for a while now. <3
    Onwards and upwards!!
    Moni

Happy you are now a part of the Project WE tribe. You are a shining example of how life doesn’t need to be perfect to be deeply appreciated and beautiful. Keep your vibes high and you’ll keep manifesting more and more opportunities (and money!) into your life. 🙌 xx

  9. Heather on June 13, 2019 at 12:20 PM

This sounds very exciting Kelly and I am really interested to keep following your progress. From your recommendations in reading, and further reading connected with this, I understand your new focus and it is a strange coincidence ( or maybe it’s not, it’s a manifestation) that it is just the direction and focus I was wanting to develop too! On the subject of podcasts, yes please; I have given up listening to the radio and now listen to an inspiring/ uplifting podcasts on my 45 minute journey to work, Really excited to see Project Me /We head in this direction👍🏻😀xx

    • Kelly Pietrangeli on June 14, 2019 at 9:17 AM

We are a part of a bigger collective consciousness and nothing is a mere ‘coincidence’. The more of us who can be sharing these messages the better, so I’ll love to hear about the direction you’re heading with this too. Thanks for your thumbs up on the podcast idea, Heather. I too only listen to podcasts now. (And Insight Timer meditations, of course.) 🙂 xx
