Kelly Pietrangeli's final blog post for Project Me

My final blog post for Project Me

Have you ever outgrown something in your life, but you just keep ‘wearing it’ because you’re too afraid to throw it away?

That was me with this blog, website and online business.

I launched myprojectme.com into the world in 2013 after doing Marie Forleo’s online B-School to learn how to take my passion for how to live a happier well balanced life and turn it into a business.

And this blog quickly became a worldwide hit! Women were searching online for key words and phrases, and finding the perfect blog post I’d written that was the answer to their problem. It turns out this is called SEO.

How to stop shouting at my kids.

How to deal with an annoying husband.

How to have more time for me.

Each time I overcame a challenge in one of my own life areas, I’d publish a blog post about it and send it out to my newsletter subscribers. Soon women were creating their own Project Mes all over the world!

I started running online programmes.

I got a book publishing deal.

I launched an online membership.

I started a podcast.

I have always walked my talk. I’ve used the tools I promote to others. I’ve been very open about my journey, including my challenges and what hasn’t worked.

How could I teach others to do a monthly Project Me Life Wheel® check in if I wasn’t doing it myself? So I did it. Each and every month. And the practice of doing so created a rock solid foundation beneath me in my outer world logistics.

I massively improved my productivity and time management and made my health and fitness a priority each week using the Action Sheets I created to help me get organised. I know that all of this consistency has put my mind and body into optimum performance.

Once I got my outer world logistics into a much better flow, a magical space opened up for me to begin exploring my inner world.

I then created my High Vibe Journey programme, helping others to actually implement the things we read in personal growth books – and live by them!

Understanding ourselves as energetic beings and the power we have to work with our energies and lift ourselves in a higher vibration is a total game-changer.

From there I started teaching my HIGHER! programme. How to live from the heart not the head. How to open more fully to life’s synchronicities and magic.

WOW – did life turn even more magical once I started working with women to help them to create more magic and miracles in their lives! It’s contagious!

And then when I most needed to learn about myself as a soul living in a human body on planet earth, I qualified to become a Soul Plan Practitioner. And with each beautiful client I work with, my understanding grows deeper.

And so … over time…

I realised I was wearing shoes that no longer fit.

Figuratively speaking of course !

Outgrowing my business felt like outgrowing a pair of shoes – but continuing to stubbornly wear them.

It’s gonna get very uncomfortable right?

I knew in my heart that I’d long outgrown running a business with the focus around practical strategies for balancing outer world logistics.

Yet my head kept giving me reasons why I needed to keep that side of my business going alongside the energy and soul work.

My logical brain kept talking me into keeping both sides of the business….

And so… I’d squeeze myself into those shoes that don’t fit and carry on.

….even though they were giving me serious blisters.

I felt like my true ME on the days I’d throw those shoes off and go barefoot, ie: when I was doing my soulful work. Figuratively and often literally dancing barefoot!

But finally the day came when I decided I was truly ready to stop wearing those shoes that don’t fit.

And I launched a whole new website under my own name, kellypietrangeli.com

I’m now an out and proud Soul Mentor, helping women to see far beyond managing life’s logistics. Supporting anyone open and curious enough to explore the intangibles and dive into their inner world.

There is so much magic out there waiting for us when we open our minds and hearts.

I aim to keep this website up and running so anyone wanting practical support with living a well balanced life can read any of the hundreds of blog posts I’ve written on overcoming issues in all areas of life, including parenting, relationships, health, work, fun and friendships.

The free Project Me Life Wheel® remains available to all. Download it and get driving instructions on how to use it as a monthly tool for checking in with yourself. Grab any of the free Action Sheets too!

And come over and explore my new barefoot life over at kellypietrangeli.com

The Project Me Podcast is now in the top 2% of podcasts worldwide. Each episode goes in a mostly chronological order as I piece together the books, modalities, people and experiences that have fallen onto my life path exactly when I needed them. By sharing my stories, I hope to inspire you to find the lessons and learnings from your own life.

Let me end this final blog post for myprojectme.com by asking you:

Where in your life do you feel like you’re outgrowing something? Wearing shoes that don’t fit.

Maybe you’ve outgrown the work you’re doing?

Or some other role you’re playing?

Maybe it’s a relationship, a friendship or a friendship circle ?

Is it feeling more and more uncomfortable? Even painful ?

What would it feel like to throw those shoes off and walk barefoot on a luxuriously soft, plush  carpet?

Now imagine that this is 100% possible for you. That on the other side of that discomfort and fear lies the peace of following the path you’re meant to walk.

You can go on for another year, wearing those painfully small shoes that cut off your circulation and give you blisters.

Or you can begin to notice your fearful ego mind and ask for guidance from your soul.

Open up your journal or a notebook and write down the fears. Then breathe into your heart and ask for divine wisdom. Write down the peaceful, loving words that come through. And act on that guidance.

Repeat as often as needed until you are ready to shed those old shoes and take those steps in a new direction.

From the bottom of my heart, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has read, commented underneath or shared a Project Me blog post over the past 10 years. I’m incredibly grateful to have had this platform to share my written words – I would have been speaking to myself without you! I hope they have helped you in some way.

Much love,

Kelly x
