The more you step out of auto-pilot and begin to live your life consciously, the happier and more fulfilled you’ll feel. But it can be hard to know where to even begin, right?

That’s why I’ve created this 4-part series to help you work out what you want – and then how to turn it into your reality.

    I definitely want to stop shouting at my kids. This time next year I want to be able to hold my hand up & say Hi, my name is Elizabeth & I’m a recovering shout-a-holic !! I’m going to need every bit of help/encouragement I can get but I’m determined to try, for everyone’s sake 🙂

      That’s a super goal Elizabeth and I KNOW you can do it if I could manage it! Well done for taking the first step and putting it into writing. Start a Goals notebook/journal and write it down there too. Our next four blogs will help you turn that goal into reality! 🙂

    I have Fibromyalgia and it feels like t has taken over my life. However, this year I am going to try to work on uncluttering my house.

    Ditto to Elizabeth’s comment on 30th December. I am not usually one for baring my soul on open forums like this but here we go. The other day my daughter and I had a heart to heart and one of the things she mentioned was my shouting at her. I just get over it, but obviously she doesn’t so easily. I tried to console myself by saying that all girls think their own mothers are the meanest because they shout, but maybe there is something in what she said. So I seriously want to try and change this one thing this year! If its only one thing then this is it!

      Sonia it’s great that your daughter communicated with you on this. Now you have true motivation to set this as your top personal goal for the new year. Next Monday we’ll lead you through the first step. You absolutely can do this once you decide you will and create an action plan to make it happen! Can’t wait to follow your success

    Stop shouting at my kids. There has got to be a better, more effective and efficient way to get my point across that will leave everyone happier and less stressed!

      Nikki, good for you for believing that having any me-time as a single mother of 7 is even possible! Some moms of two don’t think they can manage it.     I have chronic anxiety, which makes me grumpy, then I shout at my kids. I would really like to work on myself and stop yelling!

    As a trailing spouse I realise my life is all about the kids and my husband. I want ME back! I would like to carve our some time for me to reconnect on what inspires and motivates me. I would also like to generate an income of some sort but don’t know where to start…I’m hoping you girls will help keep me accountable 🙂

    I’m a single mum of two beautiful girls, 5 and 2. They are my whole world but I’m starting to feel as though I’d like to be doing more with my life, to make a better life for my girls. I’d also like to take back control of my house, I’m not quite sure what’s happened but there is no organisation whatsoever.

      Leyah, good for you for expressing those wishes. Now it’s time to shift into problem solving mode and make the changes necessary to improve your life. You CAN do this! We’ve got great tools to help you overcome overwhelm and take things one small step at a time. And that’s all it takes – one step at a time and you’ll get there faster than you ever imagined!
